Description

Boozy Jello Candy Melts are a vibrant, fun, and playful adult treat that combines the nostalgic chew of gummy candy with a splash of your favorite fruit juice. These sweet bites are perfect for parties, girls’ nights, or whenever you want a little boozy twist on candy. Bright, fruity, and customizable with different colors and spirits, they’re as eye-catching as they are delicious.

Ingredients

Scale

1 (3 oz) box flavored Jello (any color/flavor of your choice)
1 packet unflavored gelatin
½ cup boiling water
⅓ cup cold fruit juice (white grape, apple, or lemonade work well)
Candy melt molds or silicone ice cube trays
Optional: sprinkles or sanding sugar for coating

Instructions

1️⃣ In a mixing bowl, combine the flavored Jello and unflavored gelatin. Pour in the boiling water and stir until completely dissolved, about 2 minutes. Make sure no clumps remain.

2️⃣ Let the mixture cool slightly for about 3–5 minutes. Once it’s warm but not hot, stir in the fruit juice. Mixing while it’s too hot can cause the alcohol to evaporate, so be sure to let it cool a bit before adding.

3️⃣ Pour the mixture into candy molds or silicone trays. Place the trays in the refrigerator and let them chill for at least 2 hours or until the jello candies are fully set and firm.

4️⃣ Carefully pop the jello candies out of the molds. If desired, roll them lightly in sprinkles or sanding sugar for a decorative finish and a slight crunch.

Notes

You can easily switch up the flavors by mixing and matching different Jello varieties with complementary alcohols—like strawberry Jello with coconut rum or lime Jello with tequila for a margarita vibe. For a stronger bite, reduce the boiling water slightly and increase the alcohol, but keep in mind this may affect how well they set. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
