This Bowtie Pasta with Ground Beef is a hearty, creamy pasta dish with a flavorful beef sauce. Made with tender bowtie pasta, seasoned ground beef, and a rich, cheesy sauce, this dish is a comforting and satisfying meal perfect for busy weeknights. Garnished with fresh parsley, it’s a deliciously simple recipe that everyone will love!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 12 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the Pasta:

  • In a large pot, cook the bowtie pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2️⃣ Cook the Aromatics:

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, and sauté for 3-4 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.

3️⃣ Cook the Ground Beef:

  • Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spatula. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.

4️⃣ Build the Sauce:

  • Stir in the diced tomatoes, beef broth, paprika, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 5-10 minutes to blend the flavors.

5️⃣ Add Cream and Cheese:

  • Reduce the heat to low, pour in the heavy cream, and stir until the mixture is well combined. Then, add the shredded cheese and stir until melted and creamy.

6️⃣ Combine with Pasta:

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to ensure the pasta is well coated in the creamy beef sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until warmed through.

7️⃣ Serve:

  • Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of red pepper flakes or Italian seasoning. If you prefer a saucier dish, add more beef broth or heavy cream. Serve with garlic bread and a side salad for a complete meal!
