Description

Juicy, flavorful, and irresistibly good, this Crack Burger earns its name for being completely addictive. The combination of Parmesan cheese, garlic, and Worcestershire sauce in the beef patties delivers a burst of savory goodness. Topped with melty cheddar and classic burger fixings, this recipe will become your go-to for grilling season or any burger night at home.

Ingredients

Scale
  • For the burger patties:
    • 1 lb ground beef
    • 4 cloves garlic, minced
    • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
    • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 teaspoon salt
    • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • For assembly:
    • 4 hamburger buns
    • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
    • Lettuce leaves
    • Tomato slices
    • Mayonnaise
    • Ketchup

Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the patties:
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, Parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated but avoid overmixing to keep the burgers tender.

2️⃣ Shape the patties:
Divide the mixture into four equal portions and form them into burger patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to ensure even cooking.

3️⃣ Cook the burgers:
Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the grill/skillet and cook for about 5 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness.

4️⃣ Melt the cheese:
During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover with a lid or foil to allow the cheese to melt.

5️⃣ Assemble the burgers:
Toast the hamburger buns if desired. On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce leaves and tomato slices. Place the cooked burger patty on top. Spread mayonnaise and ketchup on the inside of the top bun, then place it over the patty to complete the burger.

6️⃣ Serve:
Serve immediately with your favorite sides, such as fries, onion rings, or a fresh salad.

Notes

  • Feel free to customize with toppings like caramelized onions, pickles, or bacon for an extra indulgent twist.
  • Use a meat thermometer to ensure your burgers are cooked to the desired level of doneness.
  • Swap cheddar cheese with your favorite cheese, such as Swiss or pepper jack, for variation.
