Description
Easy Bang Bang Salmon Bites are a bold and flavorful dish made with tender, bite-sized salmon pieces tossed in a sweet, spicy, and creamy sauce. These bites are perfect as an appetizer, party snack, or main course paired with rice or a fresh salad. The bang bang sauce is the real star, combining heat with richness for an irresistible finish.
Ingredients
1 pound salmon fillet, skin removed and cut into 1-inch cubes
1 tablespoon olive oil
½ teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Ingredients for the Bang Bang Sauce
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
1 tablespoon sriracha
1 teaspoon honey or sugar (optional, for extra sweetness)
Instructions
In a bowl, toss the salmon cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon pieces in a single layer and cook for about 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until golden and cooked through. Remove from heat.
In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey until smooth and creamy.
Toss the cooked salmon bites in the bang bang sauce until fully coated.
Serve immediately on a platter or over a bed of rice or salad greens.
Notes
Adjust the sriracha to control the heat level. Use less for milder bites or more for a spicy kick.
This recipe works well with an air fryer or oven baking at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes for a lighter option.
You can use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a tangier, lower-fat sauce.
Garnish with chopped green onions or sesame seeds for extra texture and flavor.
