Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup uncooked white rice
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

2️⃣ Sauté the Onion:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent (about 3-4 minutes).

3️⃣ Cook the Ground Beef:

4️⃣ Mix the Sauce:
Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and beef broth, mixing well to combine.

5️⃣ Combine with Rice:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the beef mixture with uncooked rice. Stir until evenly mixed.

6️⃣ Assemble the Casserole:
Pour the mixture into the prepared casserole dish and spread evenly.

7️⃣ Add Cheese:
Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

8️⃣ Bake:
Bake uncovered for 45 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.

9️⃣ Cool & Serve:
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
