Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or fettuccine)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the pasta: In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Cook the chicken: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
3️⃣ Make the garlic butter sauce: In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.
4️⃣ Prepare the creamy Parmesan sauce: Stir in the chicken broth and heavy cream, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer. Add the grated Parmesan and stir until the cheese melts into the sauce, creating a creamy texture. Let the sauce cook for 2-3 more minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens slightly.
5️⃣ Combine pasta and sauce: Add the cooked pasta to the skillet with the sauce and toss to coat the pasta evenly.
6️⃣ Serve: Plate the creamy pasta and arrange the golden garlic chicken bites on top. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
