- 1 can (10 oz.) water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup mix
Instructions
Preheat the Oven
Set your oven to 350°F (175°C).
Prepare the Baking Dish
Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan with the tablespoon of butter to prevent sticking.
Mix the Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, water, and Minute Rice. Stir until well blended.
Assemble the Casserole
Pour the rice mixture evenly into the buttered baking dish.
Place the chicken breasts on top of the rice mixture.
Sprinkle the Lipton Onion Soup mix evenly over the chicken breasts.
Bake the Casserole
Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil to trap the moisture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until the chicken is fully cooked and the rice is tender.
Serve and Enjoy
Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy this warm, creamy, and flavorful dish!
Notes
- No peeking! Keeping the foil sealed during baking ensures the rice cooks properly and absorbs all the flavors.
- For extra richness, substitute chicken broth for water.
- Add sliced mushrooms, peas, or carrots for added texture and nutrition.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheated in the oven or microwave.
