  • Author: Christophe
  • Total Time: 25-28 minutes

Description

These breakfast roll-ups are perfect for a quick and tasty morning meal. With flaky crescent rolls, savory sausage, scrambled eggs, and gooey cheese, they’re a complete breakfast in one convenient roll-up. Easy to make and great for on-the-go mornings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  • 8 sausage links
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese, halved
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

2️⃣ Prepare the eggs: In a small bowl, beat the eggs, setting aside 2 tablespoons for brushing on top of the crescent rolls later. Scramble the remaining eggs in a pan over medium heat until just set. Season with salt and pepper.

3️⃣ Set up the dough: Unroll the crescent dough on a clean work surface and separate it into 8 individual triangles.

4️⃣ Add cheese: Place half a slice of Cheddar cheese on each triangle.

5️⃣ Add eggs and sausage: Spoon a small portion of scrambled eggs onto each triangle, then add one sausage link.

6️⃣ Roll up: Starting at the wide end of each triangle, gently roll the dough around the sausage and eggs, tucking in the sides slightly as you go. Place each roll-up on an ungreased baking sheet.

7️⃣ Brush and season: Lightly brush the tops of each roll-up with the reserved beaten egg and sprinkle with a bit of salt and pepper.

8️⃣ Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 18 minutes, or until the roll-ups are golden brown and flaky.

9️⃣ Serve: Enjoy warm, or pack them up for a convenient, delicious breakfast on the go!

  • Variations: Try substituting Cheddar with Swiss, Pepper Jack, or American cheese for a twist.
